Spirituality vs. Religion
Transformational MeditationTM is a spiritually based technology which utilizes your connection to your spiritual belief system to enhance your life. The Academy and our teachers do not teach any specific spiritual or religious dogma. For some people, both those who consider themselves "religious" and those who reject "religion", this can appear threatening.
For those people who consider themselves religious or who actively practice a traditional or non-traditional religion, our methods and instruction will deepen your connection with your religious practice.
For "non-religious" people who do feel that they have a spiritual side of themselves, our methods and instruction will enhance your comfort with and appreciation of your personal perspective on the spiritual aspect of your life.
Due to the spiritual nature of our work, all IASK teachers are ordained ministers. This is a further step that they have taken in their own educational and personal growth process. Their ordination is a confirmation of their belief in the sacredness of the individual and the relationship among individuals. Most IASK teachers are ordained ministers of the Association for the Integration of the Whole Person. AIWP was established so that people could join together in affirming their right to use their skills and knowledge for serving others within a spiritual organization free from the dictates of church orthodoxy.
